Carols at Christmas

The Kennington & District United Church Choirs in Oxford came into being in December 1973,
when Singers from the three Kennington Churches, Anglican, Roman Catholic and Methodist,
came together for a united Carol Service.
The Carol Service continues each year on a Sunday evening before Christmas.
The Choir’s aim is to produce music of the highest quality
in which everyone can join, and have fun in doing so.

This group of singers from a small Oxfordshire village has touched the lives of so many people across the globe – The charities range from national charities such as Mencap, Save the Children and Christian Aid, to local charities and projects such as Oxsrad, Helen House, Kennington Overseas Aid and Penhurst School for special needs children in Chipping Norton.

The Choirs are self-supporting by members’ voluntary contributions.
